Vice President Controller
The Controller is responsible for overseeing planning, organizing, and directing the accounting and financial control activities of the Bank, ensuring preservation of the Banks financial and internal controls, within the framework of Company policies, objectives and governmental regulations. This position manages and participates in the work of the Finance Department, including financial reporting, and accounting functions, and examines and verifies the Bank’s reports, records, and supporting documentation.
Required Experience:
At least one to three years prior experience in a technical/customer service position. Working knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications is required. Knowledge of supporting printers and peripheral devices used with the financial industry would be preferred.Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills:
- Five to ten years progressively responsible accounting or auditing positions in a banking environment, including previous experience with financial, regulatory and SEC reporting and supervision.
- Previous accounting experience or work as a Controller in another banking institution.
- Courses in banking and accounting at the college level, and courses, seminars, and workshops on supervisory training and bank-related topics.
- CPA desired.
Education:

Teller - Position Summary
Routine and precise work in processing a variety of transactions for customers at a Branch. Make referrals and cross sell bank products and services to existing and potential customers.
Essential Functions
Processes a variety of transactions initiated by customers at a Teller’s station, by mail, or in night deposit bags.
- Receives deposits and pays out withdrawals; cashes checks within limits established by Bank policy; receives payments on loans, tax deposits, and for safe deposit box rentals; sells money orders, bank checks, and travelers’ checks and sells and redeems savings bonds
- Takes orders for checks and follows-up to make sure orders have been processed and received by customers.
- Processes ATM/Debit applications and checks to be sure customers have received the cards.
- Sends letters to new customers; Scans and files signature cards.
- Closes accounts, pulls signature cards, and sends to appropriate department for filing.
- Assists with the balancing and processing of the ATM daily.
Sets up Teller station for day’s activity, proving cash in drawer. Balances cash each day, totaling transactions processed and proving work. Operates computer terminal to record necessary information for each transaction and to update customers’ accounts. Maintains supportive records. Completes all Teller-related work before leaving Bank.
Observes and adheres to the procedures governing every type of transaction, such as verifying customers’ account numbers, signatures, identity, and account balances or refers matter to higher authority for authorization.
Cross sells Bank products and services to customers. Follows and participates in the use of the sales routines outlined in the Together Achieving Genuine Success (TAGS) programs.,i.e., PCM, MCCR, BRBP, BSBBP, etc.
Answers customers’ questions, providing information within scope of knowledge and authority. Researches customers’ accounts for such matters as account balances, direct deposits credited to accounts, and the like. Assists customers in resolving problems with their accounts or refers to high authority.
Files a variety of documents and forms. Completes CTR, Mils, and Reg CCs forms as necessary.
Other Functions of the Position:
As needed, may:- participate in training new Tellers;
- provide customers with access to safe deposit boxes;
- perform customer service work;
- be assigned to various Branch locations.
- Participates in sales routines of the TAGS program, i.e., huddles, check-ins, skill-builders, coaching sessions, and onboarding calls.
Completes all mandatory compliance training, such as BSA, in a timely manner.

Essential Functions
- Assists Branch Sales Manager and Branch Assistant Manager in the operation of a supermarket branch. Assumes supervision of the Branch in their absence. Ensures staff adherence to all Bank policies and branch operating and security procedures. Maintains branch compliance with all applicable bank functions and transactions.
- Participates in limited training of Branch personnel, distributes work, and follows up to ensure completion on a timely basis as appropriate. Provides Manager with some input on performance evaluations.
- Performs customer service and Teller functions in a non-traditional supermarket environment, providing information, marketing, and cross-selling products and services within the branch and also in-aisle.
- Cross-sells Rockville Bank’s products. Pro-actively approaches potential customers for in-aisle selling. Answers product and service questions and suggests information about other products and services. Ascertains customers’ needs and identifies current and future customer service requirements. Follows up on leads and interests, opening accounts or directing customers to appropriate bank resources and personnel.
- Opens and closes all types of accounts and applies appropriate service charges. Sends letters to new customers; files signature cards; file maintenance; scanning.
- Reconciles accounts, Researches customers’ accounts, resolving problems.

Treasury Manager – Position Summary
The Treasury Manager is responsible for participating and leading others in the daily Treasury needs of the Company. Significant areas of responsibility include managing operational asset/liability; expense control management and profitability reporting; managing operational liquidity management; and assist in credit analysis of the Investment Portfolio. The Treasury Manager will also oversee modeling responsibilities within the Finance Department and lead expense management and reduction projects.
Required Experience:
