Management

Hi, I am Devin Obedzinski, Branch Supervisor of the South Windsor High School branch, located at 161 Nevers Road, inside the school premises. On the first day of school in September 2009, Rockville Bank opened its first “in school” branch in South Windsor High School. The school branch serves only South Windsor High School students, faculty, and administrative staff and is not open to the general public. The branch is located inside the school’s main lobby and is staffed by myself and two student employees called “student bankers.” The goal of this partnership between Rockville Bank and South Windsor High School is to help increase the students’ understanding of financial services and to promote money management skills, which are essential for their success during and after high school.

The South Windsor High School branch is open from 10:45 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on days when the high school is open. When I am not in the high school, you can find me at the 1645 Ellington Road, South Windsor branch.

I graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Business with a Bachelors of Science and have worked for Rockville Bank since 2009, starting in this position in November 2011. My favorite aspect of this position is the student interaction and the opportunity to assist students with decisions regarding their financial future.

I wish Rockville Bank was in my high school when I was growing up. I would have begun my career with them much sooner.

Please stop by and visit, and we’ll show you why so many students love to say “Rockville Bank…That’s My Bank!”SM.
