Anne McConnell Promoted To Rockville Bank Vice President / Human Resource Officer

ROCKVILLE, CONN., August 19, 2010 – Anne McConnell has been promoted to Vice President/Human Resources Officer at Rockville Bank (Conn.). The announcement was made at the Annual Meeting by William J. McGurk, Rockville Bank President and Chief Executive Officer.

Ms. McConnell is responsible for a broad spectrum of human resources-related policies, programs and practices for the Bank, including employee relations, employee benefit administration, recruitment and payroll management. She joined Rockville Bank in 1995 where her prior positions have included Assistant Vice President/Human Resources and Benefits and Recruiting Officer.

A graduate of the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor’s Degree, Ms. McConnell is an active member of the Society for Human Resources Management.

She lives in Ellington, Conn. with her husband, Robert, and their two children.
