Rockville Bank Vice President Presents Sponsor Check To ERfC

(ROCKVILLE, CONN., September 14, 2010) – (center left) Barbara Benson, Rockville Bank Assistant Vice President and Enfield Branch Officer, presents a sponsor check for $1,000 to (center right) Mary Howland, a Board Member of Educational Resources for Children (ERfC) of Enfield, as local children look on. The donation from the Rockville Bank Foundation was presented to support the Educational Resources for Children’s Summer Escape Program and assists in funding the tuition of at-risk children attending summer camp held at the J.F.K. Middle School in Enfield.
ERfC has been working with the Enfield community since 1994, providing innovative services to families and children after-school. Its mission is to team with kids, communities, schools and families to grow resilient kids. Through innovative community collaborations, the organization helps children learn, reach their goals, and contribute to their communities. More than 450 children in grades K-8 attend after-school activities at its Alcorn & Enfield Street Learning Center, the Barnard & Crandall Learning Center, and JFK After School.
