Lafayette Branch Update

Dear Lafayette Customer,

Architect’s Rendering of the New Building The opening of our new location at 20 Hyde Avenue has been temporarily delayed due to Hurricane Irene. Please visit us again at rockvillebank.com or call our Call Center for more updates as they occur.

You’ll recall that, shortly after having to close our former Lafayette branch building, we temporarily moved all safe deposit boxes to 25 Park Street in Rockville. Since March 7, and while we’ve been building our new branch, you’ve had complete access to them at that location.

The reconstructed Lafayette office will be a full-service branch at which we plan to include four teller counter stations, two drive-up teller windows, drive-up and walk-up automatic teller machines (ATMs), and other customer convenience items such as a document shredder, and a flat-panel LCD screen which will provide customers with news, weather, sports and business information. The branch also will feature a refreshment center, offering complimentary beverages and snacks.

Again, thank you so much for your support and understanding, and for being part of the Rockville Bank Lafayette branch family!

Rockville Bank’s temporary Lafayette Square branch’s office hours at 1302 Hartford Turnpike in Vernon are: Mondays through Wednesdays from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; Thursdays from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; Fridays from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon. While this temporary location does not have a drive-up window or ATM machine, customers who want these services can go to the Bank’s 25 Park Street branch in Rockville, which is less than five minutes away by car. In addition, safe deposit boxes from the Lafayette Square office will remain at the 25 Park Street branch in Rockville until the opening of the new building.
