ROCKVILLE BANK ANNOUNCES ADDITIONAL INTERNAL PROMOTIONS AS IT CONTINUES TO BUILD FOR FUTURE GROWTH

William (Bill) H. W. Crawford, IV, President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Rockville Bank has announced the promotions of five additional Rockville Bank officers and one talent reassignment. They are:

	Jennifer Singer Ellington Branch Manager, has been promoted to a Vice President, Regional Manager		Elizabeth Podd South Windsor - Ellington Road Branch Manager has been promoted to a Vice President Branch Manager
	Laurie Brooks Manchester - Broad Street Branch Manager has been promoted to a Vice President Branch Manager		Kathy Stavens Vernon - Pitkin Road Branch Manager, has been promoted to a Vice President Branch Manager
	Judy Keppner Clark Assistant Vice President Corporate Secretary, has been promoted to Vice President Corporate Secretary		Lynn Gagné Who had been a Branch Operations Officer, has joined the Retail Banking division as the Branch Administration Support Officer.

Jennifer Singer has been with Rockville Bank for the past 12 years. She has served as a Teller, Senior Teller, and Assistant Branch Manager at three Rockville Bank branches: Lafayette in Vernon; Sullivan Avenue in South Windsor; and Broad Street in Manchester. Singer was also the Branch Manager at Coventry and Ellington locations. She was promoted to Sales Hub Manager in 2010. In each position, she has increasingly handled more complex and diverse roles at Rockville Bank and has a keen understanding of Branch Banking. She is a member of the Tolland County Chamber of Commerce and regularly participates in community events.

Elizabeth (Liz) Podd has been with Rockville Bank for the past 15 years. She joined the Bank as a Customer Sales and Service Associate, was promoted to Branch Sales Manager at the Big Y Manchester Branch in 2000 and to Supermarket Lead Manager in 2003. In 2008, Podd accepted the position as Branch Manager of the Ellington Road, South Windsor location and also took on Hub Manager responsibilities shortly thereafter. She was named the Operations Hub Manager 2010. Podd is a graduate of The New England College of Finance and a member of the South Windsor Chamber of Commerce.

Laurie Brooks has been with Rockville Bank for the past 10 years. She joined the Bank as a Branch Manager for the Broad Street, Manchester location. She is a 30-year veteran of the banking industry. Brooks has worked as a Teller, Teller Supervisor, Customer Service Representative, Assistant Branch Manager and Branch Manager during her career. She was promoted to Assistant Vice President and Hub Manager in 2009. Brooks is a graduate of the Connecticut School of Finance and Management. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Manchester Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Board of Directors and Treasurer for MARC, Inc. of Manchester, a Director of the Bolton Land Trust, and a member of the Bolton Scholarship Foundation.

Kathy Stavens joined Rockville Bank in 2006 as the Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager for the Pitkin Street, Vernon location and was promoted to Hub Manager in 2009. She has a 34-year banking career which has included working in a variety of positions including Market Research Analyst, Community Banking Officer, Regional Teller Coordinator, Branch Manager and Vice President, Retail Banking. Stavens is a member of the Board of Directors of the Tolland County Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Board of Directors and Secretary for Community Health Association, and a member of the Board of Visiting Nurse and Health Care Services of Connecticut.

Judy Keppner Clark has been with Rockville Bank for the past 15 years and has served in various positions, including Teller and Fiscal Assistant. In her current role as Vice President Corporate Secretary, she is the liaison between the Board of Directors and Senior Management, and is responsible for communication, scheduling and record keeping for the Board. Clark graduated as Salutatorian from Connecticut School of Finance & Management in 2002. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Rockville General Hospital Auxiliary and is a Mentor at Timothy Edwards Middle School in South Windsor.

Lynn Gagné joined Rockville Bank in 1997 while participating in a work study program with Rockville High School as a Future Banker. She began working in the Somers branch as a Teller in 1998 and, in 1999, moved to Loan Servicing as a Loan Servicing Clerk. She was promoted to Loan Servicing Coordinator in 2001. From 2006 to 2010, she worked as a Branch Operations Assistant. Gagné was promoted to Branch Operations Officer in 2010 with responsibility for providing branches with operational and technical support as well as providing information to the Bank’s management team to assist in understanding market trends. She is a graduate of the Connecticut School of Finance and Management and recently received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business.
