Embezzlement Prevention Expert Speaks to Small Businesses

Rockville Bank recently hosted a public seminar that attracted dozens of local small businesses on how to prevent embezzlement by employees. The free event featured nationally recognized speaker Stephen Pedneault, CPA/CFF, CFE, founder and Principal of Forensic Accounting Services, LLC, a Glastonbury, Conn.-based CPA firm that specializes in forensic accounting, employee fraud, and litigation support matters.

During the seminar, held at Ellington Ridge Country Club, “The employers got a jump-start on specific ways to protect themselves directly from a respected expert in the field,” explained William J.
