ROCKVILLE, CONN., May 22, 2012 – At the Annual Meeting of Rockville Financial, Inc. on May 17, leadership formally thanked three individuals for their outstanding service on its Board of Directors. Thomas S. Mason and Peter F. Olson retired from the Board at that event, and Pamela J. Guenard completed her most recent term on the governing body.
“Thank you to three directors whose terms span from 1980 to 2012,” said Raymond H. Lefurge, Jr., Chairman of the Board of Rockville Financial, Inc. and Rockville Bank. “We appreciate their generosity, expertise, customer referrals and commitment to Rockville Bank and our communities.”

Pamela J. Guenard completed five years on the Board, including serving on the Asset/Liability Committee (ALCO). Guenard is Vice President of Don Brooks & Associates in South Windsor, and lives in Ellington.
Thomas (Tom) Mason served on the Board for 23 years, is the Immediate Past-Chairman of the Audit Committee, and also served on the Asset/Liability Committee (ALCO). The retired President of L. Bissell & Son Insurance Agency in Rockville; lives in Vernon.
Peter F. Olson was a member of the Board of Directors for 32 years, including serving as Chairman of the Board from 1998 to 2001. The Rockville resident was a member of the Lending Committee. He owns Ladd & Hall Furniture Store in Rockville.
